Memorial Day

Over the past nine years (or at least that's when I started noticing), I can't think of a single Memorial Day weekend when it didn't rain (or even snow) at least once, and usually uncharacteristically out of the blue weather-wise. Almost as if God is mourning the fact that we kill each other. Then people gripe because it ruined their weekend plans. Like children, we are forced to stay inside (if only briefly) and think about what we did wrong.

It's kind of sad that we are happy that people died so we can have a three day weekend.

Keep that war machine rumbling.
